We are currently seeking a assistant sales director to join the team.

Job Description

  • Support the Director in daily operations;
  • Work in collaboration with the Director in establishing a growth plan and sales budget for the company;
  • Participate in the development and review of price lists;
  • Develop and deploy the local marketing strategy in collaboration with the marketing department of the corporate stores
    division;
  • Keep social media up to date to manage internet presence;
  • Supervise the sale’s team work schedules;
  • Support the director in managing customer relations; (After sales service)
  • Ensure exhibition halls are kept clean and up to date;
  • Active involvement in the sales team recruitment process;
  • Ensure the development and training of the representatives;
  • Schedule weekly meetings with representatives so that they have all the information necessary to provide high-level
    service;
  • Monitor KPIs with the representatives in order to make recommendations and ensure objectives are achieved;
  • Coach, accompany and support representatives in achieving sales objectives;
  • Identify and take advantage of market opportunities to increase sales;
  • Monitor the evolution of price lists and discounts;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards;
  • Develop new markets; (entrepreneur, designer, architect)
  • Other related tasks.

Competency profile

  • Passion and sales orientation with good interpersonal skills;
  • Organization and time-management skills to manage time autonomously;
  • Results-oriented;
  • Team player interested in working to the overall success of a team.

Requirements

  • Relevant sales experience; 3 years and more in sales and management;
  • Knowledge of the construction/renovation or windows and doors industry (an asset);

Work conditions

  • Permanent/full-time opportunity (40h/week)
  • Position based in Gloucester that requires travel between our three locations in Orlean and Kanata
