Iso Frame

As illustrated, this series of window frames is available in 4 1/2”, 5 3/4" flush (casement or fixed window only) or 5 3/4” with exterior moulding (EM) thicknesses.

The outside section of the 5 3/4” EM frame has an overhang on which brick may be abutted (A), or on which siding may be installed in the track designed for this purpose (B). It is also possible to order it with a reduction of half an inch for specific renovation purposes (C).

The inside part of the Iso© series frame is designed to receive a jamb extension or a sheet of gypsum to fill in the space between the frame of the window and the inside wall (D) .

  • In a new construction, it allows positioning the sash nearer to the warm part of the wall (thereby reducing condensation).
  • In case of renovation involving the replacement of the complete frame, you will benefit from the advantages mentioned above as well as having a choice of mouldings and jamb extensions that will allow you to configure the frame for an installation adapted to the specific requirements of your home.
