A New Acquisition for Fenplast
Candiac QC, November 30, 2020 – A few days ago, Fenplast concluded an agreement to acquire the assets of Fenêtres Drummond and its manufacturing division, Fenêtres Contemporaines.
Thus, to better serve customers and contractors in Centre-du-Québec, Fenêtres Drummond’s dealer division will fall under the umbrella of Portes et fenêtres De Villers. As a result, the Portes et fenêtres De Villers – Drummondville branch will move its facilities to Fenêtres Drummond’s large premises.
On the other hand, by partnering with people who have been in the windows and doors industry for a long time, Fenplast acquires valuable members of its team.
As for the original owners of these companies founded nearly 40 years ago, Isabelle and Michael Bahl are both saying: “Incredibly happy to join a winning team and sport the Fenplast colours. Fenestration has led us to join a large company that is very present and greatly appreciated in the housing market”.
For his part, Jean Marchand, President of Fenplast said: “We are very pleased that Michael is continuing his career path as Manager of the Drummondville store, and we wish Isabelle the best of luck in her future endeavours”, and adds “With this transaction, we are meeting two major objectives: first, to associate our name with a local leader such as Fenêtres Drummond for the sale of our products and, second, to increase our manufacturing capacity”.
All employees, from both Fenêtres Drummond and Fenêtres Contemporaines, have been invited to continue their jobs with the new management team.
