In connection with CCL’s infrastructure identification program, the school could not ignore the important involvement of Fenplast and its president, Mr. Jean Marchand, with the CCL Fund. The recent agreement between Fenplast and the CCL will allow the CCL Fund to obtain a donation that could be around $ 120,000 over the next few years. The CCL Fund’s primary mission is to offer financial aid bursaries to Collège Charles-Lemoyne families in difficulty and to promote and support arts, culture and sport. The CCL Fund may in particular:
- Ensure the continuous improvement of VSC’s auditorium and swimming pool
- Enhance financial aid scholarships for CCL students and families experiencing special challenges
- Buy and finance educational resources for the CCL Innovation Fund and for the pedagogical support program (bicycle desks, BITs, visual organizers, orthopedagogical services, etc.)
- Offer two $ 750 scholarships (one per campus) each year to the student who has demonstrated outstanding academic perseverance.
The Fenplast Fellowship supports the programs and profiles of the CCL, which has been working for several years to welcome all types of students and accompany them to high school, whatever their their abilities or their difficulties.
“ Our commitment is greatly motivated by the spirit of inclusion and openness of Collège Charles-Lemoyne. In this vein, our contribution will be used mainly to help a child associated with the work of Dr. Julien who otherwise could not benefit from such a quality of education. Being an alumnus of the College, it is an institution to which I am deeply attached and it is with enthusiasm that I decided to join when I was approached. It’s a great source of pride for me to see the names of Fenplast and Collège Charles-Lemoyne associated for several years to come “, mentioned Jean Marchand, president of Fenplast.
