Hybrid
The Hybrid sliding door is the ideal compromise between the energy efficiency of PVC and the tensile strength of aluminum, while providing modern lines. Based on the skeleton of the popular Iso sliding door, an exterior aluminuim cladding ensures compatibility with Hybrid casement and fixed windows.
Provides superior forced-entry protection (Level 30 / NAFS-08 Standard)
Fitted with a sturdy extruded aluminum frame with 90 ° corners for extra stiffness, casters closer to the ends for added stability and a recessed interior handle that you will enjoy throughout your life.
Careful design and quality workmanship allows easy cleaning, sashes with modern lines in harmony with our hybrid products, double weatherstripping around the perimeter guarenteeing the airtightness and providing unique performance.
Anodized aluminum sill, choice of two (2) colours : clear or titanium, go well with the FENPLAST entry doors. Neat finished, hide the screen groove and facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
The double mortise ensures greater security than a single mortise or other type of surface lock. This system, with its double opposing hooks, makes it virtually impossible to lift the panel from the outside.
The tandem nylon roller wheel system provides smooth, self-lubricated radial movement on the rail. Its treated metal casing is wear and corrosion resistant. The wheel height can easily be adjusted at the ends.
Stylized handle with double mortise lock made of a single piece of aluminum, providing durability and security.
Based on the skeleton of the all PVC sliding door, aluminum extrusion, inserted on its exterior part, provide it remarkable structural strength.

Three finishes are available: PVC-cladded pine, select pine or oak appliqué. These jamb extensions may be inserted in the slot [insertion option] of the doors and windows frame. On windows only, they may also be directly screwed on the window frame [screw option] for greater structural strength.

Novatech®’s Discretion integrated horizontal blinds are inserted into a tempered energy-efficient glass sealed unit, these aluminium blinds (available in white and gray satin*) require no maintenance or dusting! These units are under warranty for a ten years period and are available exclusively in the most popular sizes doors: * Note that the satin grey does not match the anodized grey color of our choice of standard paint colors.

Fake mullion (SDL), glued directly on the sealed unit with adhesive tape, add lots of character to the architecture of a house at lower cost.
Decidedly more contemporary with its straight lines, this fake mullion is specially designed for the Hybrid series. The outside is made of aluminum and the inside of PVC.
Available in widths of 1 1/8″ and 2 1/16″.

Grilles
An economical but nevertheless very esthetic way of personalizing a home is to add grilles to the windows and doors. The muntin bars are inserted between two sheets of glass, thereby avoiding tedious maintenance without voiding the warranty of the Insulating glasses.
The flat grilles are the most popular for a modern and contemporary look. They are available in White, Black, Commercial Brown and Clear Anodized, and in widths of 5/8″ or 1″.

As an option, you may select the triple glazing and two half-inch air spaces in the Insulating glass (1¼” overall thickness), which provides the “warmest” window available on the market that will protect you from harsh winters.
